Fun to use but doesn’t stream Amazon Prime from Google Home app. If you download separate Chromecast streaming app you might be able to mirror cast from smartphone Prime Video app but haven’t been successful so far. So I still have Roku to stream Amazon Prime but Chromecast streams everything else. Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, HBO Now, etc.

If this is your ONLY use for Chromecast, you have to decide if $35 is a good gamble or if you might want to just look into an HDMI adapter cable that connects your phone directly to your TV. Chromecast is a wonderful product but you're sort of getting out of its designed operation.
